I've tried the keygen but it doesn't work. I entered the product ID and tried at least 20 different generated codes but none of them unlocked my game. Any ideas what could be wrong here?

I've entered the product code into the keygen, however it doesn't seem to work. I entered the code given to me through the pay by mail option, as well as the one posted above neither generated anything. does anyone know what i'm doing wrong?

Ok I'm a dumby, i got the keygen to work but none of the generated codes seem to work unfortunately. if anyone has any help please post a comment here. to those wondering where to enter the generated code you click on already paid in the game menu, then it asks you for a code... however i've tried a bunch of the generated codes none work. it keeps telling me that these aren't even microprose codes and to check with my retailer. which ... alot... PLEASE HELP

IT IS SIMPLE, install risk 2, then play it, it will ask for an activation code, go to pay by mail and click that button at bottom, then copy the code in that doccument (it's like c234-4512-5567-3324-4578 or somthing) now go to the keygen, open it, paste in the top box, click gen and VIOLA! 
if youhave any problems, you did it wrong

For Windows Vista users:
If you can't run the programm, try to run it under Windows XP.
Right click the Risk icone, go to the Compatibility tab and then select Windows XP (service pack2) in the compatibility mode window. Apply.
It worked for me

Got the game instilled with no problem and got the keygen to work. Thanks a lot. only problem is that when i go to play the game i get

anyway around this or anywho who can tell me whats special about that. I have an NVidia 7800 GTX video card.

For ppl with vista that are having a problem: right click on the icon for the game go to compatibility. Run it as compatible for Windows XP service pack 2. Worked for me that way

When I 'save' the game I rename the 'slot' but nothing happens....
After I load Risk again the 'load game' bar is not highlighted??

If anybody actually reads this far lol......
if you are having problems implementing the code that the keygen has provided, make sure you HAVENT copied any spaces!!!! took me a while to figure this one out.... sometimes the generator will give you the code after a space....or with a space at the end....
i havent downloaded the game yet...im about to... im running XP....wish me luck lol
P.S. Usually you shouldnt go online with a cracked game...the game servers generally recognise cracked games and block your access! Could be the cause of peoples problems...... not sure about this game though!

Yes. Uninstall Vista and switch back to XP. Vista is just plain horrible, especially for using even slightly older software. If nothing else mentioned above has worked then I doubt anyone can help much further.

i downloaded it succesfull installed it used keygen.
set compatibility on windows xp service pack 2 but it still freezes on preparing for battle. my vista version is vista home basic.

i had an issue with it working in vista as well. i got it working by using this crack as a replacement http://www.***************.com/downloads/nocdcracks/risk2-nocd-1_01-ENG.zip?phpMyAdmin=af0f6b4465fe3f904426eaeb3dc0e3fa and setting the -noavi in the shortcut.

If it freezes at "Preparing for battle" then right click the riskII exe and then go to compatibility tab and select run in compatibility mode. Use windows xp service pack 2.

well this only plays for an hour. the keyegn doesn't work in activating the full version*** one has commented on a real activation code. Don't bother d/l'ing.

Thanks for the UP. I tried a few DL last night from proper sites and the trial was just 60 mins and nothing more. I was a bit peeved as that wasn't really flagged up before DL and installing and then there was no uninstall.
Thsi is a nice game but this version is terribly slow with the battles (I know 'spacebar' but sometimes it doesnt work too well.
