It is not needed to Patch or Crack or Online Register...
I use Daemontools 4.10 to Install....
After i finished the Installation.. press the Bioschock Icon .. It works
To all outside the Monitor... Happy Playing!

Sorry, but I forgot to mention that with the above "FIX" you can play the game and the graphics quality is decent, but nowhere near perfect.
It is a very good alternative to buying a new video card.
It also increases your load times.

I mounted it with daemon tools, then installed it and clicked on the icon and I got an error message saying something like, "The application failed to open because the application configuration is incorrect."
What did I do wrong?

To fix your sound, this is what I did. I am running WIN XP.
Turn off the EAX and REVERB. That seemed to help a lot!

i tried turning of reverb and EAX, and it didn't work, it's still dead silent

Ive restalled the game several times, but nothings changes...
I've tried installed the game in Alcohol 120%, MagicDisc & Daemontools...
Anyone any clues or ideas?

Sorry all I had to do to fix my sounds was what I stated above. I did have sound before, but did not have sound "effects" (aka could not hear the gun, and stuff like that)
I would suggest trying google for an answer.

I just luckily managed to solve it 4 a friend. All you have to do is go into the programme files after uve installed with daemon tools, somewhere in the bioshock folders (cant remember the exact 1) is an executable file called something like "microsoftredist" (it definately has REDIST in the name) anyway double click and install it, it is something to do with C++ as ul see when it installs. I also copied the crack files and used the registry tweak from the darkcoder crack but i have a feeling that u dont need to do this anyway. Also you can unmount and uninstall daemon tools once its working. Well it works now so go enjoy. CRACKING GAME!!!

can anyone help me with my sound problem, it's strange because the game start (adverts and stuff) all have sound and when you hack security bots the sound plays then, but everything else is dead silent, can someone please help

I've got a problem with this game and Vista. Once the video plays of "1960 Mid Atlantic" Vista throws an error that bioshosk.exe has stopped working. Any way around this?

Good, working perfectly (1 week i try it .. but not read .nfo)
1. mount iso to Alcohol 120
2. normal instal
3. and (without this game not run):
- Install VS Redist & latest DirectX which can be found on the ISO
(vs redist directory on mounted ISO and directx directory on mounted ISO)
4. Enjoy playing! without crack any any other things ...
but if u have Nvidia card like me (GeF 7600) u need new
beta driver from Nvidia (163.44_forceware_winxp_32bit_english_beta.exe)
without this game crash.

I'm not sure but it looks like available languages are english, italian, french, spanish and german. I think it asked during the install.

i was wondering if anyone out there has played the game yet. I can not seem to get past the begining of the game. I was surrounded by the fire and can not seem to find the wrench or stairs to get past the initial scene... can anyone help?

@Gidevjefan: You've just got to swim straight forward through the gap in the flames and keep on swimming toward that big 'ol tower jutting up out of the water. On it you'll find a staircase, a door, and the way into Rapture.

I download it, put the graphics are bad. I mean I only see the 3d stuff but not the graphic textures. I have a ATI Radeo X600, and the system requirements is the ATI X1300. MY question is that a better card than mine? or is there anyway I can change my situation to make the graphics OK.
BTW I did the dkronic's advice.

@pfrocker: I don't know very much about ATI cards (NVDIA's more my thing), but I do know that if you have to use a fix to get the game to start up, you're gonna be needing a better video card. Try to shoot for one with 512mb RAM and all the necessary pixel-pipelines.

ATTENTION
Do not try to patch this torrent of Bioshock. It will corrupt game data and you will be required to re-install. Save-games will not be lost, but it's pointless wasting your time trying to patch anyway.

The good news:
This one works perfectly on vista 64, even no crack needed.
The bad news:
I cannot patch it to v1.1, since the installer asks for an original bioshock.exe. 
The subtitles are not synced in this version, and it's fixed in v1.1. If you also want to patch it to v1.1, download another torrent cause there are tons of v1.0 crack out there, but no original bioshock.exe could be found.
Can somebody uploads the original bioshock.exe?

Yes it's also available in french.
Works perfectly except...
- There is no cursor on the main menu (and perhaps further).
- Once I launch the mission, I see the little movie then... a few blue pixels in the dark and "press W, A, S, D to move" or something like that (so of course I can't move or play at all).
Although, according to the other comments, the game should work on my PC (Pentium 4 3Ghz, 1Gb RAM, very old ATI Radeon x600 and XP SP2 ; i know it's very old but i'll buy a new computer on next July)...

In this torrent you don't need a CD-key to play the game.
BTW running Bioshock with "FlintsAOH-Mod_v4.64 for SM2b" on X850XT AGP, decent speed, short loading times.

I was able to get this downloaded after 2 days. I cannot find instructions on how to instal. I have Daemon tools lite and the download.....now what?

on another note. I have the original game loaded on my laptop. Game loads, beginning scenes look great. Main menu loads...but my mouse is gone?????
I mean my curser??? My tablet mouse doesn't work (for the game)I tried removing the driver for my tablet mouse and installed a wireless BT mouse restarted notebook and same issue.....helllpppp!!!
