to patch the game you have to reinstall the game and patch it before you use the crack, then you have to download the new crack. P.S. the most advanced crack for warhammer is to version 1.40, if you patch the game to 1.41 you cant play it. Hope i helped.

lots of people seem to be having trouble installing patch 1.10 with or without the crack. Try installing winter assault before updating original dawn of war and it should do the updating for you to v1.40 then crack dawn of war .

thats not correct. Winter assault isnt updating the game by itself. If you want to install winter assault you have to have already the 1.40 version.

1- install DoW
2- install patches up to 1.40
3- install winter assault
4- install dark crusade

Yes! it works just FINE...
I wasnt getting it right either then I tryed this:
Reinstall Dawn of War(DONT CRACK IT!)
Install patch 1.01
RUN WINTER ASSAULT (IT WILL UPDATE IT FOR YOU)
Install Winter assault....
You dont have to do any of that to install Dark Crusade...
Its a whole different game... it doesn't need dawn of war intalled to play...

When i try to run winter assault it gives me "Please use original disc" error.
and there is no crack for dark crusade i dont know wtf you people are talking about.

Cant comment on Dawn of war or winter assault, they didnt work for me after following said directions. Kept giving me a wrong cd error when I had em loaded in Daemon Tools. But Dark Crusade works perfectly. So thanks for the upload. Been wanting to try this game for awhile.

Tools you need for installing any game are
Power ISO
Win RAR
And some Savy
Why ! Cause Power ISO is erally easy for beginners to use its so simple unlike Alcohol and other programs plus its easier to set the amount of virtual drives and its so self explanitary and win RAR for those annoying 60 plus zip files you have to unpack and TIP when you do unpack a zip file make a tempory file in MY DOCUMENTS so when the installer asks for file or CD you know where everything is or gonna be.
As for this game when i done it,it was so simple im currently downloading agan as i lost it when formatting my Pc so i will put step by step instructions on here when done.
And a general rule that serves me well when installing games like this is its like cooking a pizza DONT OVER COOK IT IF YOU DO THEN YOU'VE MESSED UP HOWEVER IF YOU UNDER COOK IT YOU CAN COOK IT A LITTLE BIT MORE GET WHAT IM SAYING dont go mental installing everything at once do it bit by bit.

Did not work for me. I know that any "Original" game given add-ons will automatically patch itself; so did this one, I suppose - I did not need the 1.40 patch. But further on, nothing happened. I get Direct X bug, I get this directory full of patches filled with gibberish language and Memory.dll which does NOT work - so do patch (writes about WRONG language pool) I get spooge bug and nothing more. Thanks a lot, releasers, nothing is working in the end - decapitating all of you will do.
I want to kill you all, releasers, jesus f. christ.

I dled and installed dawn of war and winter assault which are working fine although i had to dl a different crack for winter assualt, but when I mounted the dark crusade iso and launched the installer, it does nothing. Any ideas on whats wrong? and my comp is using vista if that matters.

wait.... at the end when i copy and paste the crack for dawn of war and i try to run it, it gives me and error sayng "The procedure entry point ?dbTimeStampedTracefAux@@YAXPBDZZ could no be located in the dynamic link library Debug.dll" !!!! this is really psing me off i finaly fought i had it working

Ok peeps listen up!
Both DoW and Winter Assault works perfectly for me, didn't try Dark Crusade
but Im sure it will work fine..
If you are having problems try do to like me:
1) Install Dawn Of War [DO NOT CRACK IT, DO NOT PATCH IT]
2) Start Winter Assault Install [It will update your DoW to 1.40]
Use this serial for winter assault if you don't have any 458B-F302-1B93-D140-8C1F
3) Go to gamecopyworld.com
A) Get a crack for DoW 1.40 if you want to play Dawn Of War
B) Get a crack aka fixed exe for Winter Crusade

I agree with 19.
Tried everything.
Installed DoW, patched it: "Wrong disc error".
Installed DoW + Winter Assault: "Spooge driver error".
Installed DoW, Used No CD Crack: DoW Worked.
Installed DoW + Winter Assault, Used No CD Cracks: "Spooge driver error" with both games.
I run Vista
and have a Nvidea GeForce 8600 M GS Video Card.
At the THQ website they said the spooge error is probably beacause of outdated drivers, bull**** my drivers are up to date.
I guess it's another Vista problem. Had it before.
Tried all the compatability and run as administrator stuff too.
Anyone know how to get DoW AND Winter Assault running on Vista and/or how to get rid of the damn spooge error?

This how it worked for me:
1- Install Dawn of War, no cracks, no patches.
2- Install Winter Assault.
3- Download the No CD Patch from
http://gamecopyworld.com/
called
# Winter Assault v1.0 [ENGLISH] No-CD/Fixed EXE
4- Replace the original files "W40k" and "W40kWA" with the new NO cd ones.
5- Just double click on the new files!

ok easiest way to do this..... run all as .iso on powerISO or smthing instal all of them DO NOT CRACK! finda key gen and install the latestest patches at htt://dawnofwar.filefront.com/ this removes the "wrong disc inserted" error. From here on everthing should work fine. latest patch is 1.51 it restores Nividia graphics errors (yes this ****ed me off for smtym) and vista doesnt cause any trouble. hope this help

Non of the patches would work for me other than 1.01 kept saying wrong language for your game, ended up DLing the patches else where (Gamershell)

i've installed dawn of war and I didn't crack it or patch it . them when i tried to install winter assault it tells me : please install dawn of war and then the instalation stops. however in have alraedy installed dawn of war

Hey all!
The solution:
1) Install Dawn of War
2) Download 1.01 and 1.10 from another siter (Don't donwload from Gamespot; try Gamershell of FileShack).
3) Install 1.01, 1.10, 1.20, 1.30 and 1.40
Crack to play Dawn of War OR don't to play Winter Assault. Use the cracks from Game Copy World.
NOW, the Brazilian version of this explanation:
Solução do problema:
1)Instale Dawn of War
2)Baixe o 1.01 e o 1.10 de outro site, menos o Gamespot (Tente Gamershell ou Fileshack)
3) Instale os patches 1.01, 1.10, 1.20, 1.30 e 1.40.
Use o crack se quiser jogar Dawn of War. Se quiser jogar Winter Assault, instale e depois use o crack. Eu recomendo os cracks do Game Copy World.

Could someone help me out with this?
I extracted disc 1/2/3 of Dawn of war. While installing the first disc, I get an error in the middle of an installation saying that "Error 1311. Source file cannot be found: C:\Documents and Settings\David\Desktop\WH DOF\1\Data2.cab. Verify that the file exists and that you can access it.
My first time installing the game, any help would be appreciated

i have problem with the winter assault it's gonna drive me crazy, I’ve tried all what i found in the net but in vain 
it gives me the same error " original disc was not located" and another think when it patches the dawn of war it damages it somehow it gives an error concerning the debug.dll 
plz if anyone here was able to play the winter assault i hope he shows me the right procedures to follow THANK YOU
