works ok , good game, works on vista supposedly,to get the game to work need to copy files to my games drive and run from there, once readme file instructions completed, didn't like power iso

can't get this game to work, I've got no mouse pointer and the graphics are cracking up all over the place, any suggestions??????. admittedly I tried it on an old Radeon 9800 pro card, but i still would have thought it would work

and yes ... for the ones who crushes when it's loading between levels try to lower your resolution and the details.. it will work then.. or buy another 1 Gb of ram 
it's not the vga drivers don't bother with that

works with both dxp dx10 and you can run it on low end pc to my bruv is and he loves it peace chill out

problems??? 
when i install the game it gets to the end and says that its downloading the latest patch then comes up with an error saying that iv got the wrong disc installed but i downloaded it so obviously i dont have the dis so what do i do.. cause it just cancels out of the installation

newbie here- i extracted winrar file followed steps #2 and #3 in read_me tried running game, intro works fine until it says 2K BOSTON/2K AUSTRALIA then "bioshock.exe has encountered a error and needs to close" and it never gets any further. HELP Please give me dummy instructions. Thnx in advance..

I play the game just fine, but when I start a new game and after the first cut scene , it says "bioshock" which then fades to black and nothing appears, then when I come back to my desktop I get a "bioshock.exe blah blah has stopped working... needs to close"
DAMN!
I am running Vista . and my computer is good enough for this game. I ran the demo and other higher games just fine.

the game worked ...WORKED perfectly until i got to the part with the submarine then i get the infamous "bioshock.exe has stopped working" error. yea im running 32bit vista . any ideas?

Comprehensive install instructions: (for Dec 21, 2007)
- Mount Bioshock.2007.PC-Rip.Full.Game.English.Skullptura.daa with PowerISO
- Drag everything into a folder
- Go to Bioshock\#readme# folder and run DirectX 9c (2007) and Microsoft Visual x86 (must be those two programs from the CD)
- Run darkcoder.reg (double-click like a program)
- Play Bioshock\Builds\Release\Bioshock.exe
Overall:
Singleplayer game works fine, some perceived problems are are follows.
If your video card does not support AGP Texture Acceleration, it will not run at all.
If your video card is not at the recommended level, the game will run VERY slowly.

I downloaded the demo off steam and that runs perfectly i can play it all the way through w/o any problems. But i still get stuck when entering rapture, dont kno wuts wrong with this version.

When I try to run the darkcoder regedit, all I get is a notepad with the registry data, I can't run it and can't see a means of executing it - can anyone help?

I just finished downloading the game and I went through all the steps. When I double click on bioshock.exe to start the game I get a message that windows needs to close because this program is not working correctly. Can someone help me with this. I waited almost a week for this download and cannot play it.

For the system requirements comment. I am running an AMD athlon 64 3200 2.0 ghz with an xfx 7600 graphics card. 2 gig ram. No problems at all. Running almost everything turned all the way up. Max resolution as well. It actually runs better than Half life 2 episode 1. Don't always believe the system requirements.
