If you are taking pictures directly into the tank, then you will get a reflection of you and more so your flash. Stand at angle to the tank so that the flash lights up the inside but bounces off of the glass. Try it at different angles and from different viewpoints and it should be a lot better? I have been taking photo's of varying aquaria, vivaria and 'behind glass' for years, so I hope this helps?

BTW, you have some very nice pictures already and a very nice collection of fish. Not too many and not too few. Just right! Keep up the good work!

I was a fish keeper to, and found instead of changing camera, put a piece of a4 paper infront of flash and that works a treat. :) :)
