I will have a look at this one but I will still wait for a decent 1.36GB one. I want absolute quality for this film. The FLAiTE one is very good but not perfect and I guess this might be more of a let down.

I cant believe axxo put this under his name. Axxos release is worse than the 1.36GB FLAiTE release. It pains me to say it as I am an axxo fan. Axxos release looks like its cam quality (granted, a great cam quality but still cam quality). I gave the FLAiTE release a 9.5/10 for both audio and video...

And LOL to seedYAbastid. Why would you put FLAiTEs on DVD when you know aXXo is going to be uploading. I mean, you should've been at least 99.9% sure. He usually uploads the more popular movies, and believe it or not, he does listen and go by requests, and since thousands of people were requesting Transformers, you knew he would upload. But FLAiTEs wasn't that bad. Just a little on the dark side, and it looked more like a DVDscr then a DVDrip.

hi guys i downloaded the NhaNc3 copy a couple of days ago picture quality amazing also got acc 6 channel sound heres the link if you want to check it out it has english subs on it also but you can disable them you need the klite codec pack to play it as its a mkv file

After FLAiTE's poor attempt at a 2-CD release, this 900MB doesn't help. FLAiTE decided on 448 kbps 6-channel sound thereby leaving insufficient space for video. Result - blocky video.
Here's aXXo's effort, and it's not much better. I know it's bad form to criticize aXXo, and I don't deny that he performs a useful service. However, he does occasionally disappoint. The movie is 2hrs20ms long, so even by encoding the audio at a feeble 112 kbps, aXXo still only gets 759 kbps for the video which, of course, is still blocky. aXXo should have given us a full 2-CD release i.e. 1400MB. Then he could have given 192 kbps stereo sound and a full 1200 kbps of video - enough bitrate to cope with the fast action and bright coloring of this movie.
But no, aXXo never get's these things right. He loses it as soon as we get into long action movies. [continued]

Not to mention that aXXo's video resolutions are always off. Height and width of video should always be in multiples of 16 to get best possible encoding. Yet aXXo always gives us peculiar resolution. Take this movie - 664x268. That's an aspect ratio of 2.48 (664 divided by 268). It should be 2.35, obviously. He should have chosen 640x272. That's a near-perfect 2.35 ratio (a few pixels don't make any difference) and both figures are multiples of 16. But aXXo chooses to just visually frame over the original source material, without any further attention to this well-know rule. Failure to respect this simple principle leads to further video degradation.
So, while many of you will find this rip sufficient for your requirements, I'll be renting this DVD to make my own encoding.

its cuz he steals their source, he can't improve on someone else's rip. before u brown-nosers start bad mouthing me, yes, he does have some quality releases, but ONLY when he uses the actual dvds instead of re-encoding other groups'. (and this only happens a few days before it hits the retail cuz he prolly works at a video store) he's just been getting lazier and lazier as of late. Look up a diamond release and 2 or 3 days later it'll be an axxo one...

BUT...
I do like the axxo releases but I feel like the audio part of the releases is somehow neglected. Please pay as much attention to the audio source as to the video source. 112kb/s CBR might work for a speech focused movie.. transformers however has a BRILLIANT sound track. If it was a 700MB rip.. I wouldn't complain I guess. Actually this is no complain.. it's more of a hint.

Hi everyone~
I have a problem with the video.
I downloaded Surf's Up and Knocked Up (also axxo releases) recently, and both files seem to have a "color" moving to the right. In order words, the RGB colors seem to be out of focus.. the red and the blue seem to be fine, but the green is more to the right.
I tried using VLC Player, DivX and WMP11 ~ nothing fixed it. I have downloaded the recommended codecs from GSpot after scanning the file; still no fix! (I also checked to make sure I have the latest xvid codec.. Also, someone told me it was because the file was corrupted. I re downloaded Knocked Up, and it looks exactly the same)..
Just finished downloading this movie, and the same problem occurs..
Any ideas, please?

Pardon me, but there is a small bit of confusion and I would appreciate some clarification... I see that the name aXXo is in red, one of the marks of a true aXXo release, but I also see only 2 files in the torrent. I have not downloaded an aXXo torrent with less than 3 in months. Not since all the problems with fakers and all the rumors about a year ago...
Where's the 'Read Carefully.txt' file?
Is this fake or did aXXo forget it or did aXXo just stop using it? Anyone know?

YES! Precisely.
I find it funny.
I know a lot of people who as much as possible seed.
But there are more who just take it all then forget about it. There are limitations, I understand, like bandwidth and etc. But a little help on your upstreams. Majority, if not all, of people's utilization of bandwidth is on the downstream.
When I am on certain computers or places with limited bandwidth, I always make it a point to keep seeding at least 2 of most recent files when I can't seed many. 
Just a little justice. If we can't afford so much of it.
aXXo is doing the effort of ripping and uploading and sharing.
More power to everyone.

If you think it is no good, then don't download. If you think it is not perfect and you can do better, then by all means, give us something better to suit everyone's needs, and we'll support you as well. But please, there is no room for bigotry.
And also, remember, uTorrent and Azureus and other 'FREE' torrent clients are being given away. The basics of the technology which is enough for most people's purposes are FREE! Cohen's protocol design for torrents are free for all. So what's with the derisions and insults?
When all is said and done, a lot more is said than done.
aXXo gets a more than perfect 20 out of 10 for the doing part.
So few do their part to keep these things healthy.

Read the comments on the FLaite release and now on here.
Seems to me after watching both versions that aXXo release has slightly better picture, and you would need to be really anal to worry too much about the sound quality which as usual is worse than earlier release due to size limitations.
Who cares though this is all free stuff and will save me at least a tenner!
