720p lmao half of them wont play, and you have to track down extra codecs,
theres nothing wrong with a 350mb file. just remember, if you dont like it, get sattelite tv and pay a subscription..... or wait and buy it on dvd.... what do you expect for free muppets

350mb an episode is standard if you want to convert to VTS and burn tolerable DVDs. All my AVIs are around 350mb (45min-1hour program). I'm happy!

I wouldn’t put that way,, but yes, I've to agree with 90014. if you have got
a big screen TV you need more resolution and since it is available and people
got new big TVs, why not. I have never had problem downloading the 700mb
versions neither.

Ya, a lot more shows are in 720p now. Before it was only Prison break and 24. But they all seem to be in mkv, not avi. Not sure if that's a good thing. Are there mkv-playing DVD players? I have an LG DivX player that can handle AVI's (up to 480p only though :-P -- anyone know of a good HD DivX DVD player?).

- I was just refering to THIS episode in particular, you will see when download and play the file, quality is not good enought. Not speaking of all EZTV uploads, just this one (exact same scenario than aXXo's Transformers film quality is really poor).
- If you want a good recomendation for DVD players, dont buy anyone. Just get a notebook and plug it to a HDMI slot (of course you need a HD TV).
I think 720p are bluray disks.
Its a great difference between HD rips (350mb) and HD 720p (2.3 GB), once you try 720p, you cant leave it.

check out the Oppo dvd player. It'll play anything you throw at it and can connect via hdmi and has 6 channel audio out as well as the standard outputs.

If you read a quality magazine with a magnifying glass, you will see all the ugly dots in the pictures. My point: get further from the monitor and everything will look beautiful.
I personally download the show because it's not on DVD yet and satellite TV is too much trouble for just one show. For hi-def, I wait for the DVD to come out, purchase it, and enjoy the quality episode.
