Hi kgiehll
I just registered with mininova just to say thanks to you. You have done a very good job and a hardwork too. Once again thanks a lot for your nice collection and for your effort.

I am sooooooo frustrated!
I have tried to follow the directions for the uha files, but everytime I try to open winuha, it crashes. When I open steup, I see the DOS screen for a nano second, then it is gone.
Please. How do I burn these files?!

I registered to mininova because I wanted to thank you. Thank you kgiehll, for your time and work, thank you justeve for the precious tip. Thanks to all people seeding this. It works great. I know this is not the best place to discuss the morals of downloading all this stuff, but when it comes to educational materials like this, you know you could not be wrong. God bless you.

Great job. Thanks for your efforts. It is a terrific pack for kids. But some of the games like the ABC's, Music, Karaoke, Spelling does not work and ask for CD ROM. Is there any work around or crack for it. Please let me know if any of you has a solution to it.

thank you so much! all of my children benefit from this; the jumpstart programs are incredible educational tools. very good software.

Jumpstart seemed too good to pass up. Just completed d/l - unpacked .rar, followed directions in "Readme Before You PANIC.nfo" but have probs and hope someone kind soul can offer assistance.
The only executable file is setup.exe (no autorun or install.exe) and setup only unpacks .UHA to .ISO My computer only wants to burn .iso to DVD
Does this require burning of all or some of these files to DVD? ("mount the iso"
7GB of .ISO files were created in the unpacking process.
Have gone back to torrent and looks like I have all files. Is there a file that I'm missing? Is there some piece of critical info I'm missing?
Many thanks to anyone that can help!! Chris

acd2005 These games only work if your cd drive is D: thats what they all look for and as far as I can tell there is no way around that.

ChrisInVancouver use a different cd burning program like nero or magic iso. These all burn straight to a cd with no issues.

For those reading there is a new torrent at
http://www.mininova.org/tor/1237572
that allows you to run these without having to install them. Also they are straight isos in the download no extra stuff is needed to get to the isos.

Ok, this works on Vista/XP 32 and 64 Bit.
First, you need a few things:
1. WinRar (http://www.download.com/WinRAR/3000-2250_4-10007677.html)
2. WinUHA (http://www.softpedia.com/progDownload/WinUHA-Download-5148.html
3. Nero or Roxio..something to burn the .iso files once you open up files.
4. For your info: NFO is a system file, in order to view it you have to right click that NFO file, select open with, notepad or wordpad will open it as text.
Instruction for install:
1. Once download is complete, U need to use Winrar to extract all the files and the folder that comes out will have UHA data.
2. Use the WinUHA program to decompressed the UHA data that you've extracted, inside this folder is an iso of whatever software version you've extracted.
3. The ISO files can be burned to blank CD using Nero or Roxio.
4. Use the burnt CD to install. It's that simple.

Why do none of these jumpstart torrents have the actual game for JumpStart 3rd Grade? I want the 1st disc, it's the actual game, not this extra minigame-like disc. Does anyone know where to find it. I used to play it all the time when I was little and I want to play it.

Thank you verymuch for this excellent educational pack !! my five years old son enjoy it !
just one thing the 1st grade pack has 3 work-books : Book#1 Letter recognition, Book#3 early reading , it seems that book # 2 "word building" is missed actually the pdf file is there but its content is the same as book # 1 (letter recognition)
I thank you again for the excellent work !
