I have been unable to install. I have tried to burn onto a dvd and mount the image but when I go to those drives it says E:\ is not accessable Incorrect Function.

1. UnRar
2. Mount/burn CIV image
3. Install
4. Install the CIV patch
5. Copy the cracked Civilization4.exe to the file directory
6. DO NOT PLAY THE GAME!
7. Mount/burn CIV Warlords image
8. Install
9. Install the CIV Warlords patch
8. Copy the cracked CIV4Warlords.exe to the file directory
9. DO NOT PLAY THE GAME!
10. Mount/burn CIV Beyond the sword image
11. Install

To kbx4ever say you just installed Warlords and patched it and everything. You go into the data folder then cracks. Right click on warlords.exe copy it. go to my computer program files firaxis games or something then go to CIVILISATION folder then warlords folder then paste it there etc.

I've done everything up to the burning part successfully. I've mounted the images but is it absolutely necessary to burn them? If so, what kind of disk would I need to get and how much do they cost?

#13- you'll need a blank DVD if you want to burn, i suggest downloading a trial of PowerISO from download.com instead.

I've followed the directions 100%, but once it comes to playing it, it insists it needs a cd. i burned the .iso's, but even when i open it through deamon tools pro it says i need a cd. 
# 15 abstrak32, try pressing Ctrl and Tab. see if there is another installer icon open. switch to it and continue the download, or that is what i had 2 do.

Similar problem as #15.... Civ 4 and warlords installs and works great. When I tried installing BTS, I get the install screen, click install but nothing happens after that and setup does not begin. Any clues as to why this might be happening or how to avoid it ?

As i try to install the Warlords it tells me that "there is a newer version of SID MEIERS CIVILIZATION 4 available. The latest patch will not patch". I press OK and the whole installation freezes!
Prior when i installed the patch it installed a newer version of the CIV4!

I downloaded the file and extracted the rar file. Loaded Civ4 and the patch but the second image (ISO file) isn't there. No Warlords iso. The patch is there...just no warlords iso file.

quick q though...i only have 4 virtual drives, but more than 4 games. if i switch one out for another will i lose my game saves? or is it just like taking the disc out after you save?

ok, it worked fine at first, i already had the main game installed, so i installed BTS, it works fine.
then i installed Warlords, but the crack doesn' t seen to work, ill try with one from gamecopyworld, hope it works, i love Civilization

This download probably works fine, but I'd suggest not downloading it, and downloading Civilization 3 Complete instead.
Civilization IV looks nicer, but Civilization 3 was a better game.

Anyways torrent could have been 200mb+ smaller, there are patches in the image and crack files that takes up more than 200mb and is no longer in need since already supplied in .RAR file.

First off #57 and the rest of you ******s need to help out those that havent gotten the prog to work. You boast that its "fine without a hitch" but very reluctant to help others.
Second to the torrent uploader you need to learn how to pack and give better directions. First off there is no reason to image an image it makes it harder for the ***** to figure out. Why not just seed it as separate files on the same torrent.
Once I figure out how to do this for my bro I will post how unlike these other rejects so bare with me.

I had the same problem with the cd for CIV4. for the hell of it i loaded the image on daemons but it still didnt work, I followed the steps and replaced the crack halfway through the install.
I deleted the crack from the main folder and unpacked it again from the data/cracks folder.
now it works. if you get the cd problem i suggest replacing the cracks in the firaxis/civ4/ folder with the cracks from the data/cracks folder
that being said only civ4 works for me.
the other two vista does not open and cites some sort of problem....(civ4warlords has stopped working this program will now be closed)

It works great, this is the real deal. All you have to do is follow the instructions in the 'read me' file and you are good to go except that you should copy the cracked .exe files only after you have applied the patches.

hi guys, i'm fairly new to downloading games, have mainly downloaded video in the past, but have to say that this was very easy to install.
Just follow the instructions and it sorts it's self out. With regard to the patches, the main game (civ4), the patch is in the folder. The two add on packs just installed the add on's themselves once installed. The cracks can then be copied to the appropriate program files folder, to replace the file with the same symbol and bearing the same name.
I'd never done 'mounting' before and so wasn't sure, but just used power iso to extract the image files and this has worked fine.
Hope this helps and thanks to the uploader for a great torrent.

One more then when you patch warlords civ4 *regular game* updates to 1.74 for. So you will need to go to gamecopyworld.com or w/e you get your stuff and get that crack. The one included in the torrent will not work. Other then that I've had no problems installing..etc and starting up the games.

There is no reason to do this. Just overwrite with your cracks. Shortcuts are just that.. Then just tell the program were the .exe is at and its not gonna change the path just because you cracked it.

I followed everything to a "T" and I'm still being requested to insert a disk into the CD-ROM drive. Whether the iso's are mounted on my virtual drive or not. I also went to gamecopyworld and their cracks/fixes (w/e they wanna call them) are the same as the ones included in this torrent. The main game Civ IV loads, just not the expansions.
Question is, do you copy all 3 cracks into C:\Program Files\Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4 or do you only put Civ IV crack in the main folder and the warlords crack in C:\Program Files\Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4\Warlords and the Beyond the Sword crack in C:\Program Files\Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4\Beyond the Sword?
Reason I ask is that there is a warlords exe in the main directory as well as another warlords exe in the \Warlords directory. I've tried both ways: putting all 3 in the main directory as well as each one in their respective directories... still asking for a CD.

Make sure you cut(not copy) the crack from the original folder, into the new folder that you recently installed.

Also to all the people who are still getting the error: Insert DVD.
Make sure you copy it the first time, into the original folder.
The if its still asking, try cutting the crack into the folder.
Or maybe when you copy the crack into the folder fro the expansin packs you are not going it the proper folder.
The proper folder for the warlords would be
(Whatever Drive you downloaded in):\Program Files\Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization IV\Warlords = Copy crack fro warlords in there, and for
Beyond the Sword
(Whatever Drive you downloaded in):\Program Files\Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization IV\Beyond The Sword = Copy Beyond the Sword Crack in there.

Ok i just had my friend explain it to me well...most people dont really understand that the civ 4 in the folder that says to copy the cracked exe to the civ 4 folder well copy the one in that folder and open that panel on the left of your file browser and then click on fireaxis then under that open civilization 4 and just paste it in there....for the next step do the same except with the warlords cracked exe and then go under fireaxis then civiliazaion 4 then warlords...i know my steps sounds repeditive but this stuff gets confusing...also when your friends go "dude *** are you serious"...that doesnt help either oh and someone correct me if im wrong on my explaination

And for the people who can't make it work i have an solution that might work for you all. In the readme file he forgot to tell you to have all emulations ON. That may screw it up for you.
So the correct may look like this:
NOTE: Remember Daemon Tools: All emulations ON

Recopy the the main CIV crack exe once you are done installing and patching everything.

I DOWNLOADED THE GAME ....now when i mount civ4 (auto run included)the installation doesn't come up. i get a tab at the bottom of the computer that say "Sid Meier's civili..." but no installation ...(im using Power Iso)
i have alcohol 120% but it wont let me mount...if someone can help me with that i would appreciate it

Just a quick Heads Up for anyone downloading.
I started downloading about 2 hours ago and I have been repeatedly attacked with port scans from a seeder or two on this torrent.
Just make sure your firewall is up to snuff.

I had the same problem so deleted the exe files from
C:\Program Files\Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4
C:\Program Files\Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4\Beyond the Sword
C:\Program Files\Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4\Warlords
Then re-installed them from your cracks files. Create short cuts to the desktop from your new exe files.

I have played 2 full games with this installation, so I can confirm this torrent worked fine. But, the Beyond the Sword is at version 3.03 and I have not been able to find a 3.13 that works. I have downloaded 3 different 3.13 cracks that I found but all 3 crashes the game, and I dont know how to fix that.
In short: where can I find a BTS 3.13 patch/crack that works on top of this torrent?
