It's bloddy great, this game during the mythology old-english era, with strategy, with aw3some creatures, beautiful/stunning/heart pounding music and amazing possibilities.. my favourite town is Conflux.. its this one with the elemental monsters, fire, water, earth, wind, magic and an AWESOME PHOENIX!

A friend downloaded this game and turned me on to it and am downloading as we speak but like him am new to downloading games and am not sure of the steps used to burn XBox or PS1/PS2 games to disc to play on the game systems in question...

Got a problem.
When i run the .exe file, when i enter the game it says i need to insert the Shadow of Death CD, bcuz it registered the Heroes of Erathia CD (or something like that)
I thought, well easy enough to mount an image. But Then? What file am I supposed to mount? Couldn't find any img files in the folder. Does this work with Daemon tools ? And is this game supposed to run without the need of mounting an image ?

well, i loved heroes II and of course i love the third one too... i was kind of disapointed of the 4-th series, too poor to bare the name heroes. V is ok, but i got bored realy fast of it, dunno why... now i want to remember the good old days, the heroes III ones. best story in the history of the game. by the way, sorry if i sound rude, but Disciples 2 and expansions are far better than heroes 4... finished all the campaigns on that. i loved the way things change all the time... so what i wanted to say is, try that one too, you might just like it. many thanks for uploading!!!

**POSSIBLE FIX FOR SAVING ISSUES**
Open the folder called Heroes of Might and Magic III Complete -> Look for a folder called "games". If you can't find it, make a folder called "games" and one called "saved games" - NO CAPITAL LETTERS!
If you already got one, you should be able to save. Remember, that you can't load multiplayer games in scenario, and the other way around.
Please let me know by posting here, if this helped you saving.

only problem is that when i try and use the files from the archive (e.g. extraction) it comes up with this problem:

Hi all!
Well ive DL this game and been playing it for a yr. So I'll give you a lil info.
First, this is a fantastic game. A masterpiece of its time. I've had not a single prob. with it, and you dont even have to install it, you just play it off your computer as is with a dbl click.
Second, I've installed this on my sister's cpu and it wouldnt save for some reason, but read comment #63 to solve that issue.
Third, OMFG would this be a blast of fun if we could play this game online against and with eachother. Is there any way we can? Any techies out there that can make this happen?

My fav. town (and the strongest by far) is the Castle (or men), that has a strong game at the begining and at the end. But there are other towns that have great creatures too!
The best archer is a Titan, which is so strong that it could crush other units by hand to hand combat as well! They're found in the Tower town which has a strong end game.
The Necro town has a very strong middle game but weak end game.

The strongest unit in this game is a dorky-looking long purple dinosaur. Ive only found him in one XL map so far and you have to recruit him at his lil home somewhere on the map where you can only recruit one/wk. What makes him good is that he has like 350 hitpoints and RANDOMLY casts a attack spell on your opponent and (if i remember correct) a good spell if casted on your unit.

The second best unit in my opinion is the ARCH angle found in the Castle town (men). During a battle, he can PERMANENTLY resurect any of your dead units (where other spells and creatures can do it for the duration of the battle but you still loose the units after the battle, unlike the Arch angle where he allows you to keep them after the battle).

Best magic to learn is Air (for the chain lightning spell) and the Earth magic (for the resurect spell and the IMPLODE spell). The Implode spell is by far the most powerful and devestating spell you can have in the game!!! You have to find the spell i think either by learning it off your opponents/at there castle's mage guild/a spell book that has all the EARTH spells in it for one of your heros to use.

fast download, game glitches, not sure about anyone else, had the same save game problem, added the "games" and "saved games" then it didnt work had to download a .dll file, game worked again, now everytime i go into the battle after it fishes the game goes black and i get an error report. not worth the download. easier to go and spent 10 ***** on a legit copy

The reason why it crashes is, that your computer is too strong. Yes, it does sound weird, but it's a fact. Older games can't run proberly on newer computers, and that is probably the primary reason for your crashes.

so the game seems to install fine, no problem saving the game, but it still crashes on me once and while after a battle. anyone know what might be causing this or if theres a fix for it? i have more than enough juice in my computer to run this. but for some reason the game just seems to crash and exits back to my desk top. ill check back see if anyone has any ideas for this or what they did to fix it. thanks

Awesome game. I'm playing the complete version but have one issue. When I save a multiplayer hot seat game with 2 human players, I cannot reload it and continue playing with 2 human players. In other words, once it's been saved, I can only continue the game with 1 human player, although it used to be a 2 player hot seat game.
Any idea?

try looking for some file called CRACK on the rar file then take further instrucions on how to use the CRACK probably you should go to the files where the game was installed and then overwrite the file that has the same name of the CRACK...them the game should work properly

UPDATE: The CPU patch did work, eventually. I had to reboot my computer, start the patch, then start the game. I have it set to about 60% of my normal speed, which lets the game run but not slow enough to interfere with the game speed.
Check out CPUKiller or Mo'Slo if you are having the same problems I was.

My game says it properly saved. But later when I try to load it, it says there is no saved game. I can find the file in another folder. I've tried to put it in other folders, but the game still can't find it. Where do I need to put it?

i played the game once and it was great and thank you,
but then i tried to open it up again, and i got a "disk space" error and how i needed 5mb of free space on my drive for saved games and how i had insufficient space.
whats going on?

@Kalogzbay; I get the same problem. Usually after one turn it already crashes and returns to the desktop, probably due to an error.
It was suggested that this was because the computer is too 'good', but is there a way to fix this nevertheless? I saw someone changed something with the CPU, was that for this problem?
The game is really nice btw.

Hey, guys. I recently downloaded the torrent, and everything seems to work. But when I start the game, screen goes black and you wait for the 3DO logo, windows says that Heroes 3 has a problem (dont know exactly what it says in english cause the message is in swedish...) and it quits automaticly... 
Anyone who knows why? Its so frustrating, I've tried to downloading and packing up several times but it doesn't work! and this is the best game in the world!!

great download works perfectly i have no idea how the **** to play this so i just deleted it way to confusing considering never played any of em so yeah 
nvm but i can say this works perfectly just remember to create a shorcut to desktop of the exe file dont drag it other wise it wont read the files that are in that folder

Hi, this is probably a stupid question but I was trying to use the fix (from comment 61) so as to be able to sae games, however when trying to add a 'saved games' folder, winRAR says that the archive is locked. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks
