I can't download this torrent, in the seed/peer column the bitcomet says 0/0. I'm not registered in the tracker, and i don't have a non-free email account.

Good torrent, but doesn't contain the complete set. I notice many or the larger game files (killer instinct etc.etc) are missing.

MAME is not a small set and it only ever gets bigger, when you add the CHDs.

That would really depend on your own download rate, due to the way we distribute our MAME torrents they tend to be heavily seeded by our memberbase from very soon after creation so I'd expect most people to easily max out their download rate on it.

We don't upload fake content, these roms will work 100% with MAME v0.120.

Then you'll have to wait for some Guest download slots to open up, there is a maximum of 200 download slots and new ones open when peers leave or become seeds. Wait till the new torrent rush dies down.

This is a ROMSET and only contains roms, games like Killer Instinct require CHDs and are contained within a seperate torrent, see http://www.mininova.org/tor/901556 for these files.

I joined Pleasuredome because of a previous MAME romset posted here. Its probably the best torrent resource for MAME 
@2: I believe Bitcomet is banned from connecting because of the way it works against PD's tracker (ie., it is a horrible program and you really should be using uTorrent already)
@5: If you mean the Killer Instinct CHDs, then yes, those are part of another torrent also available from Pleasuredome. This 16GB torrent contains only ROM sets. The CHD torrent sitting on my drive currently stands at a whopping 59.5GB! Thats about 76GB total of MAME goodness I'm sharing

Never p[layed any ROMs before. Or CHD's (whatever those are).
Can someone link me to the player or program or whatever it is I'll need to use to play the games?
Thanks much and I'll be seeding once I get myself setup and figure out how to do it. Been having this itch for some older classic gaming. Games these days are a bit bleh.

You can download MAME (command line) at http://www.mamedev.org but if you use Windows then MAME32: http://mame32qa.classicgaming.gamespy.com/ is a lot easier to get to grips with.

One basically uses command line (ugh - I sucked at DOS) and one uses more of a GUI?
They both function the same though?
