-> No, it isn´t you can play only Singleplayer... and the game totally rocks only in the Online Mode... I suggest you do the same as I did and BUY the game ... thats worth it

Dude, just give it some time, sometime some lifeless nerd will crack the game rip open and create a nice pirate online server of it, or maybe create a serialkey generator to allow us poor guys who dont have money to play on the original servers without paying...

you do not have to pay to play this game online, u get benefits from subscribing ofcourse but u dont "need" them, you will need a original serial key tho. Just bought the game and playing it online and i do not have any subscription ( mainly cuz the sub.signup is down atm )

OK, this is for the folks who haven't already got this thing:
do *not* delete any of the "extra" files.. apparently they are all part of the Rar archive set, even if they don't have the usual extension. at least that's what i think.. downloaded the damn thing and killed the other files, now my WinRar says it needs volume blah blah blah..

I've got an error that says "error uploading to server" whenever i open hellgate.
this error gets displayed in a new window even before "flagship studio" loads for the game.
Any idea on what might be causing this problem?
Im currently on Vista, and ive done practically everything needed to run the game. Including the replacement of the crack, etc etc..

hi all, i downloaded this, (i'm still seeding!) and its just files named: vty-0116.001, vty-0116.002, exct all the way to vty-0116.072 and then vty-0116.sfv. i have tried to mount different files with daemon tools 4.06, but am not sure where to go from here. Thanks!

ok, i downloaded the torrent using azureus (i am indeed seeding), but not with the magnet link. when i navigate to the file folder, they are labeled avd.hgl , avd.hgl , and avd.hgl.r01 through .r070 . i have daemon tools 4.06 and yasu 1.4 both installed and working, yet i have no idea what to do to get the game to actually work. i have never done this before so any lamons terms directions would be greatly appreciated

if you are getting the "conflict with Emulation" thing you need to turn off Deamon tools. make sure you unmount the drive and turn the drive off. then install the patch and run the game.
you cant have the image mounted with some games because it picks it up and gives you that error

I have the sound problem too, it said make sure the sound acceleration is all the way up and I went into dxdiag and it was up! So I don't know what to do now. Anyone else having this problem, anyone have some advice for us?

Arghhhhhhhhhhh... same issue as jeyjey and Under_ everything is ok but it seems that the menu is all the way to the left or something like that because you can actually see a bar to the left but no cursor or options to select from

this is an awesome upload, but has anyone found a crack for the most recent patch? I think flagship is working its way up to no. 7 at this point...
and vagmas just extract the first file using winrar, it'll automatically take care of the rest. mount the image by right-clicking the daemon tools icon in your quicklaunch bar.

ok finally got it...
thanx for comment # 67 works perfectly..
once again do this..
use daemon tools and mount the image..
double click on the install game icon and install the game..
while installation it will ask u for online account.. dont enter anything and also dont press next..
install the game.. after finishing dont start the game..
use this link to download the crack.. choose the first option on the page...

aftre downloading replace the two files by the crack files that u just downloaded..they r in sp_x86 folder in the game installation folder..

When I try to extract I get:

With winrar. Also did a hash recheck but it passed.

Downloaded the last part again. Now extraction works only where do I find the auto update feature?
The game starts but after some version error and the intro movie I can't do anything.
I'm now manually downloading the sp 1.2 patch. Hopefully it will improve things.

Just downloaded and installed. Works fine. Thanks for all the help guys.
1.Once downloaded, unrar (you only have to unrar 1 file for the whole thing to go through. This may take some time.)
2. Download and install daemon tools 4.06 (http://oldapps.com/Daemon_Tools.php)
3. Mount game, then install. (If you don't know how to do this I suggest you go look at the daemonfiles forums or google it... lurk moar...)
4. Download crack and overwrite original executables.

(I have copied the links etc from previous posts here, all the credit goes to those guys for getting it working, Im just bumping a working install guide )

Hey i downloaded this game when I extraced it with win rar it gave me two game .exe
hellgate_sp_dx9_x86.exe
hellgate_sp_dx10_x86.exe
I got daemon tools 4.06 and yasu 1.5.
Ho do I mount image i right clicked on the small daemon icon and wen to mount image, but i cannot find the image to mount?? 
Can anyone help me please with a simple step by step guide.. Much appreiciated thx

Ohh Sorry actually I had Image in my virtual drive while I launched this game.... 
It needs crack refer comment no. 143 it will work.....
