After Filtering through the GH3 songs and tagging them in iTunes here's some things to be aware of for the GH3 songs (haven't gone through the other games yet):
There are no ID3 tags or artwork tags for this music, you will have to do that yourself until someone does it and uploads a new torrent.
Some Artist/Title orders are switched, I had to double check on them (I was unfamiliar with the artists) and rearrange the orders in the file names.
Some of the longer file names obviously exceeded the length of whatever program was used to organize them and are missing a few words or letters at the end of the title. I had to double check them against wikipedia to make sure I had all of their info for iTunes.
Most of the songs are the actual released songs from the artists and consequentially can sound a bit different than the GH3 songs, i.e. include intro/outro sequences that the GH3 versions do not.

This torrent does not include the Battle Music for the Slash or Tom Morello battles, but does have the Lou the Devil (The Devil Went down to Georgia) Battle music.
This torrent does not have the most recent XBL downloadable tracks (3 songs each from Velvet Revolver and Foo Fighters)
AFI - Carcinogen Crush - (unreleased until GH3) is actual ripped audio from the GH3 game, sounds a little weird to have all of the Guitar Hero sounds and cheering audience in the background, but whoever played it played it perfectly cause there's not "wrong-note twangs" in the background. Just the same it's awesome to have an unreleased track to listen to.

Dope - Nothing For Me Here - is not in the downloaded file pack, I'm assuming because it, too is not released yet, but the author of the torrent file did not rip this one like the AFI song, it's just missing. Wiki-pedia says: "The final track list released for the game Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock lists a song by Dope called "Nothing For Me Here" which is mentioned on the game as being on the upcoming album and is accompanied by a picture of the album cover."
Overall this is an AWESOME collection! Thanks to whomever spent the time to put it together, I can't wait to get them on my iPod so I can get my GH3 music fix whenever I want.

fade to black is only on gh3
GH3 on the 360 didn't include those songs that was mention by keggitycoo, you had to Download/Pay them off of Xbox Live.

WARNING: at least some of these songs are ripped from the game(s), which explains why they're not tagged and the sound-a-like songs are here as well instead of the real songs
