I found a solution
I had exactly the same problem.
u have 2 files: rzr.cd4f.001
rzr.cd4f.sfv
I have just renamed rzr.cd4f.001 file into rzr.cd4f.rar and it becomes a rar file, wich u can easly open with winrar.

I can open the .001 file in winrar and extract both the files, the keygen opens normally, but the iw3sp says it cant be opened and re-installing may solve the problem. Also I cant delete that file, it says its in use by another program, but I dont know what one, I closed all the background programes and it still wont delete. I cant open the .sfv file either, it says its damaged ect.
Good download though, I downloaded it in like 3 seconds.... So that may have been the problem, but it was going like 400 kB/s.

It is no diference between this crack and the old one so is NOT working for me..anw, problem starts on about 30% of game when mision louds and pops up error like : iw3sp.exe has encountered a problem! and no way to fix that without a proper crack...where could i find one or how to solve this isue ? 10x

ull need to replace the original cod.exe file with the cracked provided.

Not working for me... 
after I copy the cracked .exe, clic it, and the CALL OF DUTY appears...( with logo and all...)
after 2 seconds, I get the message : IW3SP.EXE HAS ENCOUNTERED A PROBLEM AND NEEDS TO CLOSE message... 
and NO, I did not clic on the ONLINE icon...
and YES I tried the gamecopyworld crack...but it's the same one.

GOT IT
Go into your CoD4 installation folder. Go into the "miles" sub-folder. It should look something like:
c:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\C0D4 \miles
Locate the file: "mssmp3.asi"
Rename it: "mssmp3.bak"
and BOOM !! shoot to kill time !!

cracked servers is the servers in the list named "cracked", i dunno cause i haven't installed yet, but there was only a few in cod2. i plan to mount with daemon or similar then you copy and paste the crack to the install folder and replace after it has finished installing . run game.cause with crack you dont need cd.
for you noobs - this is a crack not the actual game.

-il ya deux fichier : "rzr-cod4" lui te sert a générer des clé-cd

Why is every comments section filled with the same stuff?
"How do I open a .001? .sfv? .nfo? .daa? .uif? .rar? .zip?" Use a search engine and find out right away instead of waiting on a forum and wasting someone else's time.
That being said, let me explain.
The .001 is just an RAR file. If there split into multiple files it would go .001, .002, etc. Just open it up in WinRAR like the instructions tell you to.
The .nfo is just a text file. Open in notepad or similar. This is usually information about the release and how to use it. Read this before asking anything.
The .sfv is just a text file with file checksums. You can use this to verify the files downloaded properly. Not required.
Yes, this does have a keygen in it. rzr-cod4.exe
iw3sp.exe, the other file, just overwrites the original one the game uses. Easy.

So the simple solution that i thought about was to download another version of this torrent !!!! A version with no .rar (the .rar containt the password)
So with no .rar you have no password
Just try to find yourself a version of the torrent that is not in .rar !!!!!!
So that's why some people are saying that there is no password in this torrent and some others are saying that there is one !
You all have different torrent version of thoses files that's why !!!!!

I downloaded the unknowns razor 1911 COD4 recently from usenet. Everything is fine but the damn game wont load, a quick flash and zip. I got crysis, (great game until the caves) no problems, Got bioshock, another great game so far no problems but this one and Gears of War have been hell to get started. Again everything is seemingly ok...
downloaded, extracted rars, mounted iso, installed, and used crack in the install folder but the damn single player will not load, multi seems fine yet I am getting the same "key in use garbage" but I think that can be worked out...anybody else have this problem from the start, I also downloaded the 85mg patch and it is there as well so any help would be appreciated.

Works perfectly with the original Razor 1911 release of the game. Mount the ISO, install the game using the keygen from this torrent and after installation extract the other file into the Call of Duty directory, overwriting the original file.
And it is not an error on part of Razor1911 that the rar archives start at .001, not .rar; the files extract perfectly. If your WinRar doesn't recognize the 001 file as a Rar archive you have associate it with WinRar. You absolutely don't have rename the .nfo file to .rar to extract the .001 archive!

If you are trying to get it onto 2 dvds to move the game to another pc, so that you can copy it onto that one also, Use win rar and make it into smaller files. Then put half on each disc. Note: the game can not be run off these discs like the proper dvd.
If you want to run if off a dvd, rather than storing it on ur pc, You need to have DVD-9, which are dvds with twice the size (they hold ~9.4GB) and a dual layer dvd drive (which can read DVD-9)(make sure the drive also writes them)

if you can't figure it out or want play online, buy the game! it's that simple. if you have tried it and liked it, buy the game too. show devs that they can make good ***** from releasing pc games. otherwise they'll stop making them and we'll have to play on inferior consoles.

I have replaced the file with the crack but when i open it, it says

why does it keep telling me the room is for low ping players only.
i am using cracked servers too.i have patch 1.6 and patch 1.7 with single player crack. can someone please tell me what im doin wrong. i really wanna play online.

comment #118, uve done the right procedure, ive also encountered that kind of problem and so as many others, heres what you do, after youve extracted rzr-cd4f.001, it will gve you iw3sp.exe, after this go to cod4 folder, open SET UP folder, then open DATA folder, from the DATA folder you will also see iw3sp.exe, delete it, then replace it with the iw3sp.exe you just extracted from rzr-cd4f. open the game using that icon only to play the single player mode. hope this helps, this is for the not so nerdy type downloaders, follow instruction above and enjoy!!!
