There is normally a .nfo file you can open in notepad or wordpad that has directions for install.
I havn't got this one yet but if its like most, there is an identical exe in the games install directory, you should back that one up then copy iw3sp.exe from the crack over the official exe.

I mounted it with Daemon v4.10 and installed it from there. No need to burn it. The crack worked fine and I can play it now unmounted. I have a Athlon 64 3200+ with a GeForce 7600 GS and 1500 mb of RAM and it plays just fine with the auto-detected settings, although I changed the resolution to 1440x900 instead of the 800x600 it recommended for my system.

I had to open it using winrar-- 7z gave me an error. After extracting, I was left with an .iso file. I was able to mount this .iso with Daemon.
Are you getting the .iso after extraction?

Guys i just d/l this and replace the iw3sp with the iw3sp crack but when i open the game i keep on getting a "Directx unrecoverable error" even though my graphic card is up to date. My driver is also up to date (Directx 9.0c). Here's my specs:

for the people that don't realize it... and only try once before posting and trying to make other people fit it for them... after you crack/patch the game ... restart after it fails and IGNORE ERROR... many of the cracks for COD4 are memory mod cracks as well as exe over writes and IT WILL TAKE THE FIRST RUN TO FIX IT! Once again,get bt engine 5.0 and it will help speed up your download's. Seem's to work better late in the night when there's less traffic. It's considerably cut my download time's down.

There is no password. see the other comments. when you download the game you open it with power iso and extract the all game(all files) in one file. after that you istall the game by pressing set up.then you download the patch from the link on the comment 112 (copy it and paste it to your browser) and at the end you take the patch and put it in the folder tha you already install the game(the folder says Activision..)make a restart and PLAY THE GAME!!!!!

READ CAREFULLY: the downloading file contains 2 files. 1:The ISO file 6,6Gb and 2: the nfo file 4Kb. The only think you have to do is to open the first file with the program Poweriso. there is no rar file passworded come on read the comments.... download the poweriso install it and then go to the first file press the right key from mouse and open the file with poweriso. Then follow instructions from comment 114. It works with vista and it is a fantastic game

Used WinRar to extract iso file from rzr-cod4.001, then used PowerIso to extract the setup files from the iso file and then installed the game.Mounting didnt work for me and neither did the no-cd crack, so got one from gamecopyworld.

The ‘jack_garland1’ has right the RAR file needs password. And I think we have the same problem. Maybe we have download the game from another post, Probably IsoHunt.
I must explain that there are two files for this “Call of Duty 4 [REAL with CRACK] “ 1) rzr-cod4.nfo 4 KB 2) rzr-cod4.rar 6.627.617 KB. With double click on the second I see two files inside 1) rzr-cod4.iso* 2) how to open.url (this is a link). When I try to extract the iso file (from the rar), a box comes up and ask the password for the “rzr-cod4.iso”. Power DVD or Daemon Tools don’t do anything.
I believe this is the problem.

I just download this torrent there are two files in this torrent they are
rzr-cod4.rar
rzr-cod4.nfo
Now when go to extract the contents of the rar which shows two entries
rzr-cod4.iso *
hot to open url
(Please note the first file I listed rzr-cod4.iso * is as shown including the * at the end of the iso extension.)
When I try to extract the rzr-cod4.iso * I get a request for a password on the rar file if you enter any text the extract will seem to go ahead but at the end of the process you get an error telling you the password is incorrect.
I have tried to mount with poweriso and daemon tools nothing works.
I have had very few issues with the hundreds of other torrents I have download so I am no noob, there are too many people with the same issues as me so what gives with this torrent. I have stopped seeding until this issue is resolved my cable connection sits idle.

lol... y are there so many comments about a password for unrar a file... as its been said already there isn't a password... if you'd properly use the file with the correct program then you would not have this problem... and i think muttsnutts on post 147 is right... there are several other razor1911 torrents so it could be a mix up, normally a rar file won't have a password unless specifically stated otherwise its a fake most likely... i hope this all works well as it should.. my rig is of:

ok whenever i dload torrents i never mount iso images i alsways extract the image and run the setup.exe from there and ive got over 150gigs worths of games installed, but this 1 didnt work for me got about 13 error messages saying not valid windows image .dll ect ect ect then next time i tried it would say about the didnt close prop try in safe mod blah blah blah
so mounted this on virtual drive through magiciso and works a treat !
installed the game copied the crack and now im shooting the @se of them baddies !

you need a program called MAGICISO your find it on here !
then just select the iso image and select extract here / or folder of your choice
or open magiciso and find wherever you've put the iso image and it will show you all the files within the iso image just select all and extract again to folder of your choice ! easy peesey !

since it was taking a lot of time for me to download so i purchased it and believe me its worth spending money.. well nothing better than free of course..
here are my pc specks.. it ran very very smoothly and with great graphics or u can say most of the things set on high settings..

160 gb hdd...
one of the best games ever played.. story is short but worth playing...

from what i found you mite need to dload a progam to connect the 2
but also they said pc games are already mapped for the xbox360 controller so no need to remap the buttons when your connected just play lol !

This torrent downloads fine, mounts fine, installs fine. It even comes with a crack inside the iso, but after you install the game and copy over the crack...
It does not run... at all!
I have never come across a pirated game that did everything correctly and fail to run.
I have pirated Unreal Tournament 3 AND Crysis recently and they both run like champs on my quad core/SLI 8800 PC with the latest drivers from nvidia and the latest DX9 on my XP partition and the latest DX10 on my vista partition. So I'm sorry, but this is NOT user error.
This is simply a bad pirate I guess...

I mounted the ISO with latest version of deamon tools, then installed using the key in the NFO file (again, open with notepad), i couldnt use the crack supplied by Razor1911 as i kept getting the safe mode error, but i sownloaded the NO CD CRACK from gamecopyworld and hey presto its fricking mint...
