It's sold on a double layer DVD, so unless you have a DVD-DL you can't burn a working copy. I had this problem too. I'm trying to use the crack-fix and am not sure what to do with the files, can anyone help me? The .sfv and the .001, where do I paste them?! Thanks

Sorry should have said. Skullptura version, no crack files, no tweeks, just run the bat file and you have the game. It does take a very, very long time to install, but soooo worth it! Skullptura works for me! I say this as HL 2 was buggy etc. I have a nvidia card that is cut down and as a result I know it's not 320mb , but most of the games I try to run think it does! This game from Skullptura download runs no problems!

What's with this password issue? Seems some people have an issue and some don't. I doubt anyone who has this working, even has a password to give. For one reason or another they weren't prompted for a password. Doubt anyone is being selfish, somebody would have given it if there was one. Weird. Anyway...

What do you mean you "copied and pasted the fixed file into the GAME'S FILE"?
Copy the crack (iw3sp.exe) to your Call of Duty 4 main install directory (the folder where your game is installed). Make sure it's the fixed crack and not the crack from the iso. Overwrite the existing 'iw3sp.exe' when prompted. But before you do this, you should make a backup of the original 'iw3sp.exe'. You will need it for future update patches that will eventually and inevitably be released.

yes but do not extract the iso file just mount it with power iso or daemon tools and it will play like a cd and you do not have to unzip them to install the game all you need is a keygen when the game starts to install

Could it possibly be an iso file that just happens to have a winrar icon? Check and make sure of it's extension. And if it is a .rar extension, how did you end up with this file? Like, did you start out with 68 files (001 --> 068)? And have you changed any file extension at all?

yes just mount it WYSG T8M8 P4GE QPJQ 5651 then you need to change the iw3sp.exe file thats in the game program file by dl this one

on the mp when you have to type in the ip bit i cannot get up its the button above tab and left from 1 it does not bring the bit up so i can type in (connect 69.65.11.42:28963) as seeing in the jpeg

There is no password. Just open Daemon tools or Alcohol and mount the image.

I though the No DVD crack was busted the 1st time i tried to run the game

finally got mp working i knew how to do it all the time but the ` button would not work but yet it would not notepad so how i got it to work was to take the player folder out of the game so how this worked and then i could then put the ip and play mp so if any has the same prob thats how i fixed it

For everyone who needs a password to unrar the file, stop using winrar or whatever rar program you are using. Go to "http://www.daemon-tools.cc/dtcc/download.php?mode=ViewCategory&catid=5", and download Daemon Tools. Use this to mount the iso file, and the install page for CoD 4 should open. Good luck!!

I started downloading the game right now. And I don't have a rar file. I have an iso. And for what I've been reading, just try to change the extension of the file for .iso, and run it with daemon tools or another program of that kind.
If isn't that, maybe you downloaded aother torrent(?)

Crack included in download is not working. Wow. That's pretty inconvenient. Waiting to download the fricken torrent with the crack fix now after downloading the 6GB. If you guys can find a better torrent to get this game I would suggest you do it. Otherwise, thanx for the effort 1911. oh, I have not downloaded this yet but the crack should be a simple copy paste procedure. Should just replace the game .exe (in the games directory,wher you installed it) with downloaded crack. May have to try a few newer cracks to get it working 100%.

I downloaded installed and patched the game successfully but everytime i run it it says iw3sp.exe has stopped working. i tried to run it in safe mode but the same happens. i am running windows vista ultimate. Someone pplease help me!!

here i will tell you how to download the game from A to Z ( my english is bad )
1. download the game and when the download finsh open it
2. you will see a file name rzr-cod4 it size is 6 giga extract it in new folder with winrare
3. enter the new folder you will see alot of file open setup
4. now the setip will start but they will ask you for password
enter : DL2J-8PY4-4Q22-GE48-88D2
5. the setup will start and when it finsh you will see 2 COD4 in the Desktop one is for singel player and one for the multiplayer
6. now you can play multiplayer but you cant play singelplayer and when you try to open it it will say please insert the correct DVD-rom coz you need a carck you will find the crack in the new folder were you extract rzr-cod4 if you copy that crack in COD4 and try to open the singelplayer it will say iw3sp.exe stoped working that is coz the crack is not working so we need a new crack

Ok so where am I going wrong?
I've followed all of hadif's steps and when I click the single player icon I get this error:
This application has failed to start because d3dx9_34.dll was not found.
Re-installing the application may fix this problem.
Any ideas people? (I'm using Vista).

OK, you dont need a password for iso, and you dont even need daemon tools or ISObuster or w.e!!! those install virtual drives and those can sometimes take over your other drives, AND THAT IS NOT GOOD! I just burn em to dvd's, and you need the ones that hold 8gigs, double layer i think they're called.
And guys seriously just buy the games, the reason is the companies will stop making games because of so many cracked ones and people downloading the games. Thats why call of duty 3 wasnt for pc!!!!!
So guys just buy the games, plus there is a high chance of getting caught. A lot did last year!!!
Whats worse, paying 40 bucks maybe 50 for a game, or paying 50,000 for a game that you downloaded?
So, guys give some credit to the developers and buy the fricken game!!!

p.s if your game wont start and you get(iw3sp.exe has stopped working) goto
C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\miles folder and
either delete mssmp3 or rename to mssmp3.bak and it will work

The iso in this works fine, however THE CRACK CONTAINS A TROJAN/VIRUS DO NOT OPEN IT!!!!! It simply will do nothing, the game wont run, and then you will notice issues on your computer like form boxes glitching out from key logging.
To those that have already downloaded, get the legit razor1911 crack off gamecopyworld or some other site.
and i'll say it again for emphasis:
THE CRACK IN THIS TORRENT CONTAINS A VIRUS/TROJAN!!!

Ok... people who are looking to play online:
It's pretty simple.
You have to patch to the newest version of COD4 first, because most servers are now 1.6. Once you patch you don't need a NoCDexe for the mutliplayer. But you'll need one if you're planning to play Single player again (which you can get at www.gamecopyworld.com).
Go to your multiplayer:
Then click on Join Game
On the top change your source to Favorites
Then click on New Favorites
Add a private server IP (go to uangames.net for some private servers)
Here are my favorites:
72.249.94.147:28960 - Hardcore (includes new stock maps, same maps on console)
72.249.94.146:28960 - Hardcore Custom Map IW Ranked (no mod needed) Must run UAN Mapsyncto play (http://uangames.net/UANMapSync.exe)
72.249.94.149:28960 - CoD4 S&D
28960 are ports, which you don't need to type in unless they are not that number. 28960 are default ports for most COD4 servers.
