Encoders notes:
This file is optimized for playback on standalone, ps3 and xbox 360. The size is kept at under 4 gig for storage on ps3 external fat 32 hdd.
Also plays back nicely on pc at 720p on a 1280x1024 desktop ( or there abouts ) and gives a brilliant quality source for convert X to dvd. Convert X can produce a dvd from this file thats as good as an origional.

The file name has been shortened because some people don't realised that the file name has to be simple for ps3 playback. This should stop people thinking its broken because the filename has spaces...

If your going to playback on ps3, drop the file in a folder before playing, this should stop anyone from getting corruption messeges.

Homer adopts a pig who's run away from Krusty Burger after Krusty tried to have him slaughtered, naming the pig "Spider Pig." At the same time, the lake is protected after the audience sink the barge Green Day are on with garbage after they mention the environment. Meanwhile, Spider Pig's waste has filled up a silo in just 2 days, apparently with Homer's help. Homer can't get to the dump quickly so dumps the silo in the lake, polluting it. Russ Cargill, the villainous boss of the EPA, gives Arnold Schwarzenegger 5 options, forcing him to choose 4 (which is, unfortunately, to destroy Springfield) and putting a dome over Springfield to prevent evacuation. Homer, however, has escaped, along with his family. Can he stop the evil Cargill from annihilating his home town, and his family, who have been forced to return to Springfield?

I must admit that when I read Hans Zimmer had been signed
as composer for The Simpsons Movie, I felt a bit bad for
Alf Clausen and yet understood why the decision was made.
One could argue that Clausen's music for The Simpsons
television series, even in its briefest statements, is
perhaps more the soul of the series than even Danny
Elfman's famous title tune. Over the years, Clausen has
had to accentuate, augment and play against so many
thousands of absurd and sincere scenarios, punctuate so
many visual gags, that I thought it'd be wonderful to hear
his contribution stretch out on the big screen. But since
Clausen still has the series itself to score, producer
James Brooks often goes to Zimmer for his films and after
listening to the The Simpsons Movie album, I feel that
Zimmer did a pretty good job in his own right.

It opens appropriately with Elfman's series main title,
performed by a very large orchestra in suitable
celebration of the grand theatrical upgrade. Following
this is "Trapped Like Carrots", a bustling cue featuring
Zimmer's sprightly new main theme for the film, which
seems loosely based on Elfman's, a few notes here and
there and similar phrasing, working well in this context.
Funny enough, it emerges as a tune Bart might whistle
absent-mindedly as he slides down the stair banister.
"Doomsday is Family Time" opens with a more sweetly
charming statement of the theme, essayed on piano and
flute with strings swaying, a nice respite before the
unexpectedly raucous, grungy, surf-rock tone of "Release
The Hounds", a great track. "Clap For Alaska" begins with
a grand, mock-serious inspirational cue for orchestra and
choir before scaling down to woodwinds and strings, while
in "What's An Epiphany", Elfman's theme is led through
several variations and the track itself carries an overall
Elfman vibe, due to instrumentation, some of the harmonic
language and mischievous nature.

Elfman's theme is granted an even broader canvas in "Thank
You Boob Lady", heard first in an exciting mold, and then
later moving into more sweeping statements and variations.
The lengthiest track, "You Doomed Us All

The Simpsons Movie is a 2007 American animated comedy film based on the animated television series The Simpsons. The film was directed by David Silverman, and stars the regular television cast of Dan Castellaneta, Julie Kavner, Nancy Cartwright, Yeardley Smith, Hank Azaria, Harry Shearer, Tress MacNeille and Pamela Hayden. It features Albert Brooks as Russ Cargill, the evil head of the Environmental Protection Agency who intends to destroy Springfield after Homer pollutes the lake. As the townspeople exile him and eventually his family abandon him, Homer works to redeem his folly by stopping Cargill\'s scheme.

Previous attempts to create a film version of The Simpsons had failed due to the lack of a script of appropriate length and production crew members. Eventually, producers James L. Brooks, Matt Groening, Al Jean, Mike Scully, and Richard Sakai began development of the film in 2001. A writing team consisting of Scully, Jean, Brooks, Groening, George Meyer, David Mirkin, Mike Reiss, John Swartzwelder, Jon Vitti, Ian Maxtone-Graham and Matt Selman was assembled. They conceived numerous plot ideas, with Groening\'s being the one developed into a film. The script was re-written over a hundred times, and this creativity continued after animation had begun in 2006. This meant hours of finished material was cut, which included cameo roles from Isla Fisher, Minnie Driver, Erin Brockovich, Edward Norton and Kelsey Grammer. Tom Hanks and Green Day appeared in the final cut as themselves.

Tie-in promotions were made with several companies, including Burger King and 7-Eleven, which transformed selected stores into Kwik-E-Marts. The film premiered in Springfield, Vermont, which had won the right to hold it through a competition organized by Fox. The film was a box office success, grossing over US$526 million. It received a significant majority of positive reviews, with some critics saying it was better than the latter seasons of the show.

While rock band Green Day are performing on Lake Springfield, the band members fail to engage the audience in a discussion about the environment. They are killed when the pollution in the lake erodes their barge, causing it to sink. At a memorial service, Grampa has a prophetic vision, in which he predicts the impending doom of the town, but only Marge takes it seriously. Lisa and an Irish boy named Colin, whom she has fallen in love with, hold a seminar where they convince the town to clean up the lake. Meanwhile, Homer adopts a pig, which causes his now neglected son Bart to look to their neighbor, Ned Flanders, as a parental figure.

Homer stores the pig's feces in an overflowing silo, which horrifies Marge, and she tells him to dispose of it safely. However, Homer gets distracted and instead dumps the silo in the lake, critically polluting it. Moments later, a squirrel jumps into the lake and becomes severely mutated. Nearby, Flanders and Bart discover the squirrel during a hike, and the EPA captures it. Russ Cargill, head of the EPA, presents five options to President Schwarzenegger, who randomly picks the action of enclosing Springfield in a giant glass dome. When the police discover Homer's silo in the lake, an angry mob of townspeople approach the Simpsons' home. The family escapes through a sinkhole in Maggie's sandbox and flee to Alaska.

Cracks start to appear in the dome and Cargill, not wanting news of what he has done to become widespread, plans to destroy Springfield. In Alaska, the Simpsons see an advertisement for a new Grand Canyon to be located where Springfield is. Marge and the kids decide to go and save the town, but Homer refuses to help the people who tried to kill them. The family abandon Homer and leave but are captured by the EPA and placed back in the dome. After a visit from a mysterious Inuit shaman, Homer has an epiphany that he must save the town in order to save himself. Just as he arrives at Springfield to do so, a helicopter lowers a bomb suspended by rope through a hole in the dome. Homer climbs to the peak of the dome and descends the rope, knocking the escaping townspeople and bomb off. Homer grabs the bomb and a motorcycle. After reuniting with Bart, they cycle up the side of the dome and Bart throws the bomb through the hole, seconds before detonation. The bomb explodes, shattering the dome. The town praises Homer, who rides off with Marge on the motorcycle into the sunset. The townspeople begin restoring Springfield back to normal.

. Thanks to Lisa Simpson, Lake Springfield is cleaned up from the pollution that once fouled it. Sur le point d etre lynchee par les habitants aux abois, la famille Simpson parvient a s echapper du dome de verre qui emprisonne Springfield et a prendre la route de l Alaska. Peu apres leur installation la-bas, les Simpson apprennent que le gouvernement s apprete a aneantir Springfield. Bien que Homer s oppose a toute intervention, Marge decide de voler au secours de ses amis et voisins, en compagnie de Maggie, Lisa et Bart, ce dernier amerement decu par son paternel.
