Description:

Radio Series from the 1950s, "I Was a Communist for the FBI" starred Dana Andrews as Matt Cvetic. Cvetic a real man who infiltrated the Communist Party within America during the 1940s, for the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Later sold his story and it was turned into this glamorized and melodramatic Radio Series. While not as good as other Radio Series, none dramatized the Red Scare quite so well. With Dana Andrews always closing the show with the memorable line “ I was a Communist for the FBI, I walk alone.”
