Goddamn. I've just taken the headphones off at the end of this week's
show on Krafty Radio and it's a ripper. I'm hoping here that you caught
onto the torrent for last week's show (if not, find it!) and have
therefore got the general idea. So, Simon pulls out some brand spanking
new tunes on white labels and some stuff that is just on the verge of
release. Notably CHANTLP8; specifically, "All my friends are dead, all
my friends are dead, all my friends are dead.....", it goes like that
with an awesome heavy guitar riff keeping up with the serious kicks.
This tune is for headbangers, heavy metal as it should be, hardcore.
And just when you thought that it was safe to walk in the park again,
up follows the request section. The first half of the show was good,
the second half was exhillerating. Awesome tunes, the acid trance of
Acid Scout on "Balance", a stomping track by Oliver Chesler under an
assumed name, and some real real classics; the baby sample on the
Clonel's record is uncompromising and 2300 stalks the earth.
Seriously, if you're into uncompromising dance music with attitude,
tunes you can get lost in or be terrorised by, this is the place to be.
