ArtRage is a free painting package designed to provide a realistic and fun simulation of painting.
You can import images and smear them around, or recreate your photos by loading them as tracing papers.
You also can have ArtRage select the color for you as you paint.
The application includes oil paints, crayons, pencils, pens, and other tools, including a color sampler and palette knife.
You can create large or small images, zooming in to see small details as required.
ArtRage will run on standard Windows machines with a mouse, but is even better with a graphics tablet,
