Anand Bhatt Video/Slide Montage
Rock star Anand Bhatt is being considered for two nominations for the upcoming Latin Grammy Awards. This makes him the first Indian-American musician to be considered for a Latin Grammy nomination. His song “Contigo O Sin Ti” is in consideration for both Record of the Year and Song of the Year.
Bhatt was the first Indian-American to be inducted into the Latin Grammys as a voting member, and now he is being honored as an award consideree as well. The Latin Grammys are put on by the Latin Academy of Arts & Sciences to recognize outstanding achievement in the music industry. They primarily honor works produced around the world that were recorded in Spanish or Portuguese. The event is being held this year on November 10, 2011 in Las Vegas, and will air on the Univision Network.
“I am truly honored to be an award consideree for this upcoming award show,” said Bhatt, “I am excited to represent the Indian-American community while being rewarded for doing something I love. It’s a great feeling to know that my music can reach such a wide range of people.”

Following the video premiere for the popular track "World Keeps Turning" and the success of the song "Kitna Pyar" in clubs and radio worldwide, Anand Bhatt teams up with Vietnamese rap star Ha Okio on the new song "Tonight Tonight."
"Working with Ha is such a pleasure," says Anand Bhatt about the production of the track, "He amazes me with his talent. His on-the-mic character is so catchy."
Bhatt & Okio met during Anand Bhatt's visit to Saigon this past winter. They hit it off quickly and became both friends and colleagues.
The new song "Tonight Tonight" has been released as a single and is intially available at iTunes ( http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/tonight-tonight-feat.-ha-okio/id453309281) across America and Europe with all other major retailers worldwide immediately to follow including Amazon, Napster, 7digital, Myxer, Audio Jelly, Sony Playstation Network, and Nokia Music (Ovi for Asia).
Aside from being submitted to famous DJ Paul Van Dyk for club use and airplay on the syndicated show VONYC sessions, the song has also been presented this week to the committee in charge of Grammy Award considerations with the hopes of possible 2012 recognition. "We got it to the market just in time," remarks Bhatt, "it was a quickly approaching deadline, and we hope everyone gets a chance to hear it and like it."
