Description:
The weekly anime podcast of Japanator.com, the show covers what is going on in the anime/manga industry in the U.S. and Japan. As promised, we took the time out of grueling, unforgiving (hot tubs, hentai, and beer) schedule at Anime Matsuri to record our very first live Podtoid-san. This all took place in the Japanator Suite (I hope they rename our room that) of the Waterway Hotel and Convention Center in Woodlands, Texas, where John, Gia, and I joined guest Tim and the newly dubbed Desutoid cross-site mascot (a.k.a. Redzie) for some slightly drunken debauchery. Oh, and Anime Matsuri big daddy and all around awesome person Marc Pedregosa joined in the fun.
For half the podcast, we did our normal Podtoid-san thing and talked about the news items of the week. Not surprisingly, it doesn't go as smoothly as it does over the internet, but it's probably more funny that way. In the other half, we invite AM's Marc to give us the lowdown on everything at the convention. Inappropriate things were said, and good times were had. My apologies to the hotel cleaning person to whom our room was assigned to.
Episode breakdown is available here.
