VMDK type: Pre-allocated, 2Gb split
OS type: FreeBSD
FS type: UFS2 w/ soft updates enabled
Unzip the file, point your VMware .vmx file to it, boot your FreeBSD virtual machine and add the new device to your /etc/fstab file. You don't need to format the disk, just mount it and it's immediately usable.
