War brings about a different kind of conflict as three lives intersect and collide in Pilar, a woman with a great capacity for love, her husband Diego, whose love for country far outweights hus hatred for the enemy; and Capt. Hiroshi, the Japanese army officer.
The wartime drama has Pilar torn between her loyalties to Diego and the enemy. Capt. Hiroshi whose kindness leaves Pilar little choice when in exchange for her husband's freedom, she agrees to become a wet nurse for Hiroshi's newborn son.
Diego's resentment over this bizarre arrangement would not be contained. He becomes a ragged guerilla out to destroy Hiroshi. pilar must now choose between love of country, family, Hiroshi and the child borne out of her alliance with the enemy.
