Description:
This CD seems to be available no more anywhere. So, handle this download carefully! ;-)
It's a pity that there aren't at least a dozen similar such CDs with keyboard compositions by Bach's pupils, or rather with the complete keyboard works of each Bach pupil. My one gripe about this recording is the somewhat dark and harsh sound of the two harpsichords used, most likely brought about by the acoustics of the castle where this was recorded.
For those who want to play the first Sonata (by Agricola) themselves: there is a very neat looking PDF file with the score of Agricola's sonata ("Non-commercial copying is encouraged") available for free on the Internet: here. There seem to be more such PDF files available on that site, but I didn't check closely as I don't use a printer.
