T.Power's Self-Evident Truth was one of the first full-length releases in jungle, and at that one of its first concept albums. Split into two records — one each chronicling emotion and intellect — T.Power's tight, raucous blend of jungle's twisting, mutating percussion with ambient-style melodic themes is best stated here. It's a bit sugar-coated at times, with long, syrupy melodic passages often taking the place of more creative song development, but the album's rhythmic tweak is often so severe you hardly notice.
