Description:
The tapes that you find here are taken not just from John Peel shows in the 1990s but you will hear snippets of Annie Nightingale, Steve Lamacq, Jo Whiley and Mark & Lard.
The type of music is very much indie-pop and indie-rock based, with bands like Sebadoh, Stereolab and The Wedding Present being most prevalent. The band name you see on each file name is just when there's either a session or more than 1 track by the band in it. It's not all songs by that band.
If you've downloaded all the tapes, please leave them seeding on yout torrent program at least until you've uploaded as much as the total folder size. I'm sure you find it annoying when you can't get all of a folder due to lack of seeds. Sharing makes the world a better place. (Tell that to the RIAA!)
This is the second folder of this type of tapes but I might make some more with me being the DJ. Keep a look out on mininova for 'Onion Terror mixtapes'.
Cheers and I hope you like the tapes.
