Memory: 512 Mb (user-configurable after installation)
This virtual appliance does not have VMware Tools installed in it, since they don't support 8.0-CURRENT yet. NTPd is installed and enabled to keep the system clock in sync. Perl 5.8.8 is installed, and the ports tree is current as of 11/26/08.
The root password is "password".
NOTE: Some VMware products, such as VMware Server 1.0.x, may not be able to import the virtual appliance .ova file directly. In this case, please use the VMware Converter (http://www.vmware.com/products/converter/) to convert the virtual appliance to a standard virtual machine format.
