Meshuggah, one of the leading post- thrash bands of the late nineties. The band has
evolved from a more general thrash style (as heard on Contradictions Collapse) to the
stark anti-melody sound on Chaosphere and None. Though this style is getting pretty
common nowadays, Meshuggah's complex riffing and song structure has helped them
remain an influential leader in the extreme metal field.
