This is the August 23rd 2004 show of Democracy now which ran Arundati Roy speech “Public Power in the Age of Empire”. The speech, as the name implies, addresses the issue of Public Power and what it means in today’s world. But more interestingly she addresses the problems that face modern democracy and the resistance movements that exist around the world. This is a particularly interesting speech and is eloquently written and delivered.
