A nice bass can carry everything. Nothing can disfigure a nice sound. This is why not only its warm wave-jacket is very becoming to the self-entitled debut by the Scandinavian DISKOTEKET. It makes even in a Gothrock-garment or Psychodelic-pullover an excellent figure.
The songs are fitted out really wonderful. They've kept their own trousers on - perfectly combined with the best eye-catchers from the clothes-boxes of the SISTERS OF MERCY and the legendary CHAMELEONS. Moreover, on the attic of the TALKING HEADS the four from Sweden found some thrilling accessories, and so the New Wave-Post Punk-stylemix got its final polish.
"Diskoteket" not only have what it takes to get from the Scene-Dj's CD racks and hard-disks right on their turntables - the record will bump into open ears far beyond the scene as well.
In Germany it appears on 20th of March, 2009, as a digital release on afmusic, where quite other successful Northern-Europe importations found a "german" home. On the label's homepage there is a free version to download: www.af-music.de.
