ColdWays is a progressive metal project by William O'Connor. Started in 2007 with the release of a three track demo titled "Solitude Tonight". The demo featured an "unplugged" approach to creating alternative dark music. The demo was well recieved but the project was put on hiatus while William focused on other projects, most notably Shadowfault.
William left Shadowfault in 2009 and began work on "My Failures", the first full length ColdWays album. The Album features 9 tracks. It is a mixture of Alternative rock and progressive metal. Shortly after completing the album ColdWays signed a record deal with the independent label Wasteful Records.
In 2010 William began work on a new demo No-one which would be an evolution of his previous sound and would make use of far improved recording methods. The demo which includes one 10 minute long track was released in May 2010 to pave the way for ColdWays second full length release which will be out soon.
