Compressed in the excellent copmression format DjVu (pronounced "déjà vu"). DjVu is a new image compression technology developed at AT&T Labs, which allows the distribution on the Internet of very high resolution images of scanned documents and photographs. DjVu achieves a file size that is 10 to 20 times smaller than comparable Jpeg, Tiff or Pdf documents. The KJB 1611 was originally about 2GB in Jpeg format.
