(1) === Summary ===
"These are doujin CG collections and CDs/DVDs (NOT scans or hentai CG sets) that I have
garnered via Share, eMule, BitTorrent, and through personal sends from friends. I took the
liberty to organize them and check each and every one of them to make sure they were not fake,
inaccurate, or corrupt. You will most likely recognize a lot of what you probably have seen on
image boards, message boards, etc; however, these are top-notch quality, and in their purest
form. Look around. See that guy's avatar? See that wallpaper she made? Oh, nice CG someone
posted. But where did they all come from? Well, now you know. This is only my personal
collection, and I have no plans on making another. I present this to you as a starting point on
garnering doujin CG collections for your own pleasure.
Enjoy!"

(2) === History of this Collection ===
It first started a while back when someone I chatted with on IRC introduced me to pure
digital doujin CGs by providing a link to direct downloads of these type of collections.
Upon downloading them, I was hooked. Finally, something of respectable quality, since these
were NOT scans or redundant hentai CG sets. Later on, another person I met on IRC
introduced me to a native Japanese peer-to-peer program known as "Share" and taught me
the basics. I then began chugging down these CG collections, as if it were an addiction that
took control over me.
(3) === Organization and Categorization ===
As for organization, I categorized the collection in a such a fashion that each artist/studio gets its
own folder. I also took the time to name all of the files in a consistent and easy-to-follow manner:
"Artist/Studio - Title of Collection [or Series] - [Volume Number] - [Title].rar"
*Anything in [brackets] is only used if applicable.
**Any useless or redundant Kanji I found, I simply removed. Kanji is ugly, and you know it.
***If a collection had both English and Japanese names, I gave priority to the English names.
My tasteful rant on Kanji:
Begin rant.
Can you just imagine how Kanji in fine print could make a hassle of your everyday life?
JURO: "Ah! Ichiro-sama! Why are you shoving pills up your ass? Gomen kudasai. Domo arigato gozaimashita.
Gomen."
ICHIRO: "Oh! Don't worry, Juro-san. It's the medicine my doctor prescribed me. The directions say to take
them rectally. Gomen kudasai. Domo arigato gozaimashita. Gomen."
JURO: "Let me see that bottle. Gomen kudasai. Domo arigato gozaimashita. Gomen."
JURO: [While squinting his eyes] "Hmmm, mhmm, hmmm. NANI? That seven-stroke symbol means ORALLY,
not rectally."
ICHIRO: "..."
JURO: "..."
ICHIRO: "..."
JURO: "Gomen ku..."
ICHIRO: "FUCKING KANJI!"
End rant.
(4) === AppLocale? ===
I included the AppLocale installer (apploc.msi) as a workaround for the Kanji and Unicode filenames.
If you wish, you can install Applocale, create a shortcut for WinRAR (with the last language option),
and begin to extract Japanese-named files without any issues.
(5) === PSDs, Audio, Games, and Other Trinkets ===
Many of the collections have included PSDs (Photoshop documents), which still have the layers and
effects intact. With these, you can actually tweak and edit your favorite images to your own liking.
A perfect treat for wallpaper editors and creators! Some collections (to my horror) come with audio
files of the girls going through orgasms, such as moaning and crying. The freaky "Japanese-ness"
doesn't stop there. A few collections even have "games" where depending where you click, how
fast you click, or how you drag your mouse cursor will affect the characters in the doujin. Disgusting
if you ask me, but at the same time I find it very humorous.
(6) === Disc Images? ISO/CUE/BIN/CCD/IMG ===
Much of the collection is in disc image format, in which you can create a virtual drive as if you
possess the actual CD/DVD itself. Some of these formats include .iso, .cue, .bin, .ccd, .img, etc.
Use a program, such as DAEMON Tools, which I have included with the torrent, to "mount" these
disc images as virtual drives. You may then browse your "new drive" as if you inserted the disc.
(7) === Why RARs and Not ZIPs? ===
Because of compatibility and Unicode issues, I recompressed them all with WinRAR at maximum
RAR compression. It seems, that with WinRAR, you cannot extract any files with Unicode in them if
they are in .zip format. This is the reason why I used the .rar format. At least you will be able to
extract single files without having to rename anything. If I had left all the files, folders, and disc ISOs
uncompressed, this entire collection could have possibly been nearly twice as large as it is right now,
in terms of file size!
(8) === JPEG-only Copies? Incomplete Series? ===
As you may have noticed, some of the doujin CG collections have only the JPEGs from the collections
and are missing the BMPs and/or PSDs while other collections are missing the HTML, but come with
the original BMPs, etc. Basically, I tried to garner the full versions for every single collection; however,
even with combined efforts between some friends and myself, this is the best I could come up with. I
was able to replace some JPEG-only versions with the full versions, when possible. (I looked long and
hard, and believe me, what's out there is out there. What's not is not. Period.) This is the same reason
why some "series" have only a few volumes from the entire series, and others I was able to complete.
It's a matter of availability and popularity.
(9) === Contact Info ===
If you wish to contact me about anything, such as help, feedback, requests, hate mail, death threats, etc,
use one of these contact methods (listed in order of priority). Don't worry, I'm not "holier-than-thou" or
"too good for everyone," as opposed to a sizable majority of people on the Internet.
