Madonna's 2003 album is often claimed to be her most underestimated recording, besides Erotica,
and I always thought that it had much to do with the way the songs were assembled, so I took a minute and
re-organized the whole thing :o)
And voilá: a whole new experience! The album as a whole makes more sense now (to me),
the songs deliver themselves in a somewhat different way ...
I never liked Die Another Day on the album, though it fitted the soundtheme of the album well,
but to me it belongs to the Bond movie and its soundtrack. So I left it out, which also made a big difference.
So I hope that you guys feel the same way, now listening to the "new" AL ... plus the special remix cd, which contains
remix versions of all album tracks.
I re-edited all tracks but 2 ... no big changes, just a slight extension here and there, but I totally re-edited Mother & Father,
it now has a more linear structure ;o)
