The television series "Mission: Impossible" was created by Bruce Geller. It premiered on the CBS network in September 1966 and ran for seven seasons, ending in March 1973. The series was subsequently revived by the ABC network in October 1988, running for two abbreviated seasons before ending in February 1990.
