Description:

Mahou no Mako chan DVD quality, episode 01. This series is notable for the fact that it was the first one featuring a female teenage protagonist who is actively pursuing love. Previous series were geared mainly towards children, while Mako took the bold step forwards and catered to the more mature audiences. Many series were later built on the foundations that Mahou no Mako chan built, some even reusing the music from this series. This is the first "true" magical girls' show, from year 1970.
